The Purcellville man charged for the death of his son earlier this month, after the 21 month old was left in a car, was indicted by a Fairfax County grand jury Monday.

Miles Harrison, 49, was indicted on manslaughter charges Monday, July 21. Earlier that day he had reported to the Fairfax County court and turned himself in, according to authorities.

Harrison had been hospitalized after finding his adopted son, Chase, inside his sports utility vehicle, which was parked outside his office in Herndon.

Tuesday, at a preliminary hearing in Fairfax, Harrison's bond was set at $5,000 and he was taken into custody. He is scheduled to return to court Wednesday, August 27.
