Dulles Chamber To Host Job Fair Next Week

The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a job fair Sept. 17 at Dulles Airport. It will take place in the ground transportation area on the eastern end of the main terminal.

The job fair will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vendors represent concessionaires and retail establishments at the airport. They include restaurants such as Potbellys, Wendy's, and California Tortilla, along with shops ranging from Solstice Sunglass Boutique to Swissport and Borders Books. Butter London is seeking nail techs and Gate Gourmet has positions open in food preparation. CLEAR is seeking attendants and supervisors. The restaurant and front line positions typically pay from $8 to $11 per hour. Others range upwards of $20 per hour and include openings for store managers and assistant managers. Positions are both full- and part-time and cover morning and evening shifts.

The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Northern Virginia Community College, Dulles Airport and Westfield Management, and with the Northern Virginia Workforce Investment Board for the Job Fair.
